The + was taking a leadership and advisory role in the project, assembling the team that could best execute the owner’s vision.

This adaptive reuse project transformed a former bank with drive-through teller lane into two separate facilities, an Ambulatory Surgery Center and a LASIK Eye Surgery Center.  KasCon worked closely with the owner in pre-construction assisting in preliminary pricing, selection of the design team and expediting permit approvals.  Medical grade surfaces, contactless doors, HEPA filtered HVAC units, back-up power and a complete surgical suite ensure the space is ready for medical care and procedures. Linear LED light fixtures combined with high-end, modern finishes transformed the LASIK Suite into an attractive, inviting place for elective procedures.    The Ambulatory Surgery Center is equipped with post op/pre-op areas and the surgical corridor is Medicare Certified.  This will add another option for outpatient surgical care to Howard County.
