We review and analyze every project before work begins to identify, anticipate and solve potential issues before they emerge. We ask hard questions and then explore all options to find the most efficient and effective solutions. This might include permitting, lease or purchase concerns, code challenges, utilities, equipment, furniture or cabling. And, contrary to industry norms, KasCon doesn’t believe that change orders are inevitable. We work hard to minimize them. In fact, less than 2% of all change orders have been initiated by KasCon over our 20+ year history.

The result? More savings, faster projects and greater confidence in knowing that the project is moving forward as planned and on-time, without unnecessary obstacles.

A KasCon executive is intimately involved in every project and is always available to the client, providing experienced oversight and ensuring results exceed expectations.


We provide straightforward, honest and timely communication. Even if an item is complex or sensitive, we make sure there is mutual understanding.

Personal and Timely Communication

When you call our office during business hours, you’ll talk to a person, not an automated system. We respond to your calls and emails in hours not days. You matter to us. We’ll keep you informed throughout the entire project, and we’re always available to answer questions or talk through your ideas or concerns.

Single Contact

A dedicated project manager is assigned to each project from start to finish. This gives you a known, single point-of-contact from the initial concept estimate to closeout. This continuity results in more efficient communication, less time lost on hand-offs between departments and a fuller understanding of the projects’ history, nuances and your specific needs.

Doing the Right Thing

If a problem emerges, the KasCon team tackles it with a sense of urgency and brings it to a quick resolution. We maintain such long-standing relationships with our clients by doing what’s right and make sure what needs to get done is done – not just sticking to the “contractor role.”

Jeff has over 30 years of professional construction experience. Starting on drywall and carpentry crews, he moved into roles as Project Manager, General Manager and Chief Operator Officer at other firms before founding KasCon in 1999.

Jeff continually pushes the limits of what you might expect from a typical general contractor and has earned a reputation for going above and beyond – delving into design, leasing and other aspects of projects. By doing so, Jeff is better able to understand the needs and motivations of his clients and can offer proactive suggestions as to how to improve the entire real estate transaction process to better meet his client’s goals. Instead of just “managing construction,” Jeff represents his client’s interests in all aspects of a project.

This tenet has become the cornerstone of the KasCon culture and is how all KasCon employees and subcontractors work.

Jeff has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Peter brings extensive experience, knowledge and ability to every KasCon project. He was a Project Manager, Vice President, and General Manager for other mid-Atlantic firms before joining KasCon as a partner in 1999.

Peter has an intense commitment to client satisfaction, personnel motivation and keeping a project on schedule, while his calm demeanor provides clients with a sense of comfort and confidence.

Peter fosters repeat business opportunities. By identifying and satisfying the unique needs of his clients, Peter turns a single job into a series of projects and long- standing relationships – a true testament to KasCon’s success.

Todd brings nearly 20 years of project management experience to KasCon where he his role has continued to expand. Prior to joining KasCon in 2018, Todd has held other senior project manager positions for other Mid-Atlantic firms.

A Harford County resident, Todd spends much of his time cultivating deep client relationships throughout the greater Baltimore area across industries. Todd routinely turns each relationship into a series of projects consistent with The KasCon Way.

Community Involvement

KasCon believes that contributing to our community is an integral part of running a successful business. Through donations and volunteering, KasCon supports the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center and Dream Builders.
