dd’s DISCOUNTS

The + was successfully meeting the requirements of the landlord-client while balancing the input and specification of the end-user’s needs as a national brand.

This 23,000 sq. ft., full-building renovation project transitioned a white box space (formerly Best Buy) into a dd’s DISCOUNTS store in Laurel, MD. dd’s DISCOUNTS is a growing retail chain owned by Ross Stores, Inc. KasCon installed a new 500 sq. ft., covered loading dock addition i.e., steel, concrete, cold form framing, overhead doors, and fencing. A new storefront facade was added including cold form framing, EFIS, lighting fixtures, and glass. KasCon also installed roof access to the space via a 25 ft. steel ladder and a new roof hatch cut into the existing roof.  As a result of the successful project execution, KasCon was added to Ross Stores’ national list of preferred contractors to pave the way for future store builds.
