The Carefirst project encompassed renovation of
five floors of fully occupied space in a Baltimore
City office building. The work progressed on a seven
day per week schedule over a five month period.
Included in this renovation were installation of
more than four hundred new systems furniture work
areas, complete removal and installation of new
floor coverings, demolition and construction of
new offices and new painting throughout the entire
space. This project was further complicated by the
massive amount of re-wiring necessary to accommodate
the new systems furniture and the necessity to upgrade
the electrical services of several floors while. |
